The new iPad couldn't replace the high-end iPad pro but it will replace the Chromebooks which is favourite so far for the kids as the budget and the usage. The Chromebooks are the best for the battery consumption purposes. This new iPad will also support the Apple pencil so the notetaking purpose for the students will be very handy with the new iPad and Apple will be powered by the A10 processor so it will be very much powerful not as much as the iPad pro but it will be surely powerful for the students. Battery life would come around 10hours which will be sufficient for the educational purposes. Apple has also added some of the Augmented reality apps for the kids who can learn a lot with that apps. Although I like the price range Apple has maintained tho compete with Chromebooks because Chromebooks are the main players and the best for the students. Apple has also maintained A-star for its portability this new iPad cannot actually replace an actual laptop but it can come close to be a laptop. Overall it would be very handy for the students who like the portability and the notetaking is their main job in school and it can be a portability laptop, not an actual laptop but as a basic laptop. It would be the best iPad for the students
